The color patterns will be a surprise as all of these species have iridescent sheen on their feathers, have bold markings and patterns. The adult ducks are of medium to small size and all the hens are good egg layers. They started laying eggs at 4 months of age. It is hoped that the ducklings will carry on with the good egg laying ability.
