Are you wanting to save money buying your own hatching eggs but dont have time or tools to do job? Let us do the job! We have had great success with our own duckling hatchery and will be happy to incubate and hatch turkey, chicken, duck, quail, goose, and or any other farm bird egg you have. Please NOTE: This is an "as is" service provided in good faith and with promise that we will do our absolute BEST to bring your eggs to a successful hatching. This means that:
- We treat all eggs at our farm with great care when handling. We handle ONLY WHEN 100% NECESSARY. Otherwise our policy is hands off the eggs!
- Only trained and experience members of the farm handle or manage hatching eggs at any given time per.
- We do not wash any hatching or eating eggs and we ask that you do NOT wash yours either. The eggs have a natural protective coating that helps to inhibit bacteria from getting into the porous egg shell as it incubates.
- We use a variety of commercially available incubators, type used for customer service is determined based upon the size and number of eggs.
- ALL incubators and hatching related equipment are clean, disinfected before and after each use. Our staff microbiologist ensures that our farm hatch house meets biology lab standards in terms of keeping the area clean, free of any pest infestations, and ensuring the disinfecting of all equipment that eggs or hatchling should be in contact with.
- We maintain standard incubating temperatures, humidity, and special egg care as indicated by known professionals in the breed being incubated.
- We will keep all customers updated as the eggs progresses or if there is an issue with their eggs. Updates include emailed photos of eggs as they incubate, at times of candling, and when eggs hatch if we are lucky enough to catch it.
- We take pride in egg and hatchling care and want all eggs to be successful. While this is not always the case, we will at least maintain constant environmental states that are known to help the eggs hatch out.
- We take a hands-off approach when it comes to egg hatching. Unless there is obvious reason we should assist in hatching, we do not. Opening the incubator during lockdown can impact other eggs in the process and assisting often times does more harm than good.
